Carry weigth's for different Races?

Hey,

Are there different Carry weigths for every Race?
I mean can a small Guinecean carry the same amount as a Half Giant?
Just thought about a Duelist, who can go permanently stealth and carry a lot of Ressources around.

Currently, there are no carry weights. There are 2 different types of "resources" in the game: Resources and Materials.

Resources are things like ore, wood, stone, hide and body parts that you harvest. The only limits on how many resources you can carry are the size of your inventory and the stack limit of the resources. Most resources stack to 100. This isn't likely to change, but there is a definite risk in carrying a lot of resources, because you can get killed and someone else can take them.

Materials are things like timber, ingots and boulders. These are obtained at POIs like the Mill, Mine and Quarry. They are used in the building/repair of fort and keep walls. This is where the real limits will be seen. Right now, players can carry as many as fits in their inventory. IIRC, each one takes up 4 inventory slots. It's possible that they will be even more limited in the future, or we will need a lot more of them, because they want us to use caravans to move materials. Caravans/pack animals will be able to carry a much larger amount than individual players will.

there is a stat that can increase your inventory capacity - not seen it in action yet tho and unsure if it will be tied to race - or just skill training/disciplines etc [or even character creation advantages/disadvantages etc]

It would make placing parcels and buildings in you EK very challenging as well as carrying around the boulders, wood and ignot used to repair walls for forts and keeps or build catapults for assaulting. Not sure if it’s going to take the same mats to add on to guild castles yet. The current method of having it based on inventory space makes more sense with the size of some materials and the fact that only the people with the appropriate crafting skills can carry them as separate components and assemble them later if you buy a house or land it’s going in your bag fully built for you to place. I am also curious of how dangerous trying to get your stuff back to your own EK will be once they are something you have to travel through a ruin gate or world portal to get to.
