5.7 and the Confessor?

Any hope that there will be some improvements made to this class in the near future or should we just roll something else?

While combos are firing more frequently they are still not 100%. Mana shield works so they should be able to take a bigger punch at the cost of mana. Still the same mobility but we have less defense now (40% mit cap), but the other classes are capped lower on defense too.  Hard to make a judgement call atm with out extensive testing, but overall i think they will feel better in 5.7.

The biggest issues remain.  Food, low range. Fire wall is still weak and will basically kill you if a knight is paying attention. The base kit still has some issues: The flame thrower is still weak and not worth the risk and the heal absorb on the meteor is not worth the CD and cast time. Single, non changeable dmg type. Redemption takes too long to charge.

The elken charge which now locks you in to a vector. That is a race issue, not a class issue.

Maybe do something with the offhand. Scepter, rosary beads, skull, lighter fluid, fire crackers... I dont even care what it is, something that will increase damage. 

 I like the class concept, just needs some major tweaking.

Elemental is missing some pretty big things that physical dmg gets.  Group wide armour pen buff, and multiple sources of armour breaks.  Elemental dmg needs these too.

Eh just remove fessors imo.  Meleefall is all we need...

Why do the developers hate this class so much? I wanted to mess around with the Surging spirit discipline that's dropped by the spider queen  just to mess around with some testing and Confessors cannot equip it but Rangers, Myrms, Champs, Duelists, Knights, Templars and Assassins can? Why exclude the Confessor and allow these other classes to equip it?

You sure he wants that? Because it feels like the damage aside from the fall damage from tornadoes is pretty pathetic compared to some other DPS classes

Will be decent when everyone is running around in intermediates and no training.  Once folks have gear and training the fessors will fall by the wayside--low dps, very low range, too squishy, effectively just a CC/physics platform at best. 

Ranger does it better.

Why should they fall by the wayside? Assassins looking pretty OP 5.7 with attack speed and toxins, Myrms can spam 2 skills for some pretty damn good perma mitigation, Champions got a crazy heal, Sickle Druid has a broken life tray that can be exploited. I know its pre-alpha, but there's a reason you don't see anyone playing Confessor. Thanks for fixing the combos but its not enough. Like Maryjane said above, once gear and training come into play, class wont even be worth playing... this class is fun to play but not even close to what the other classes offer. Please put a little bit of time into balancing this class!

That would be a pretty cool class. You could kill some hellcats spiders, wolves, etc.and rez up to 3 for pets to bring into battle. As they are killed again you need to farm some new pets.

As somebody who played a vanilla wow warlock and spent hours farming shards just so I can attempt to play my class...lets go with no.  There are good systems for necros but forced to only raise dead npcs would suck in a siege.
