heeso 9 Share Posted February 16, 2015 Hi Guys.I was thinking. Why not have Wolves in the game, that are playable. Or other animal types that can be outfitted with armor. Just like the char from final fantasy 7 Red XIII :-)Let me know what you think I have a few drawings bahamutkaiser
rajah 1,602 Share Posted February 16, 2015 Animals with armor are unrealistic, unless it's an armadillo.

jinglehell 108 Share Posted February 16, 2015 I'm having trouble thinking of an appropriate way to express my loathing for this concept without getting slapped by the mods. Labefacto
checkyotrack 4,608 Share Posted February 16, 2015 Sorry, this game will not be an anime. bahamutkaiser and Labefacto 2 You are so incredibly helpful, CYT. I don't know how I ever managed to do anything before we met. I was just bumbling my way through life, all lost-like. Thank you. My blessing cup runneth over.
bahamutkaiser 2,378 Share Posted February 16, 2015 I'd love to see it. courant101 1 Before you criticize someone, walk a mile in their shoes... Than if they're upset, they'll be a mile away, and barefoot
seventhbeacon 4,041 Share Posted February 16, 2015 There's a honey badger species and an elk species. Done. courant101 and bahamutkaiser
bairloch 2,136 Share Posted February 16, 2015 (edited) We need a sloth player race that never leaves the EK. Ostrich would be appropriate too. Edited February 16, 2015 by bairloch courant101 and rajah 2 I'm in this for the Experience, not the XP.
seventhbeacon 4,041 Share Posted February 16, 2015 We need a sloth player race that never leaves the EK. Ostrich would be appropriate too. And a groundhog that waits six weeks between PvP matches because "custard winter". bairloch
heeso 9 Author Share Posted February 16, 2015 Groundhogs!!! Yes please lol
MalkavianPrince 0 Share Posted February 16, 2015 I would like this! But like someone else said, it's generally a bit harder when the model is completely different from other races. The best compromise would be a humanoid wolf of some sort, I'd think!
bahamutkaiser 2,378 Share Posted February 16, 2015 Someone else lied, Centaur was the first confirmed Archetype. Before you criticize someone, walk a mile in their shoes... Than if they're upset, they'll be a mile away, and barefoot
shmilbick 156 Share Posted February 16, 2015 (edited) Fur. Fur everywhere... I'm not against that, but you'll have to clean your own hairballs Edited February 16, 2015 by shmilbick
Quipster 5 Share Posted February 16, 2015 Wolf could be nice, tho I guess this is more of a werewolf. Looks pretty badass, tho I wonder if its a good idea with animalistic characters. Interesting thought tho. *Hope this pic aint huge bahamutkaiser
stubs01 89 Share Posted February 16, 2015 No wolves in armour. Werewolves maybe
bahamutkaiser 2,378 Share Posted February 16, 2015 I don't think they should put armor on beast classes, rather, if they did do beast races, it would be better if they used mutation or magical enhancement to progress, ultimately, given the dominance of weaponry, I'd expect beast races to lean toward magic use or magically enhanced physical combat. courant101 1 Before you criticize someone, walk a mile in their shoes... vektyr 11 Share Posted February 16, 2015 I have never been a furry fan... animals as humans... I really hope it sticks to human based species versus cross-species breeding cause that is just weird. In a way, it takes away from the immersion..
bahamutkaiser 2,378 Share Posted February 16, 2015 The subjects on natural animals made into playable archetypes, not anthropomorphic creatures. Though we already have Centaur and the lore accounts for unique species coming from the same heritage... Before you criticize someone, walk a mile in their shoes... shmilbick 156 Share Posted February 16, 2015 They can add armor on a beast... The Centaur is the best exemple : they added armor on the horse part of his body On the other side, WEAPONS would be a bigger problem. Even with armor, a wolf or a tiger can use claws and fangs. But the weapons would be more difficult If they really accept to add full beasts archetypes, I guess they will have to invent news "weapons", like Iron Claws
