  1. 1. What is your favorite archetype ?

How many people have changed their vote? How many times have you changed it?

It will be hard to decide until a little more on each type comes out, but I am narrowed down to:

Templar

Ranger

Centurion

Confessor

I want anything ranged, not much for melee here.  So, Confessor, Ranger, Frostweaver and Druid looks like my options so far, oh ya and the goofy gerbil.  I kinda like him too.

If you want, I can give you some build ideas for your Board Warrior. Most of us have picked the Dark Forumer (melee dps) promotion class already. White Knight (tank) and Brown Noser (specialist) were kind of horrible.

Don't forget to pick up fishing as your gathering skill - some nice synergies there.

Well, I get 6 votes in my personal poll, So it's not really changed as much as added to.

This is very true, but Elf > boring human so that's a toss up. And all the frost CC spells could be fun. But then the Druid also interests me even more I think.

Yeah, I'll agree on the Frost CC, which is what keeps me uncertain. I just love mah frost spellz  :)

Man, whats with no (not much) love for the Champion? Big huge melee dude swinging a huge battle Axe? Sounds kind of awesome to me. Will likely be Stalker for main but Champion is easily my second favorite so far.

Duelist vs Champion

Originally was leaning legionnaire very heavily but now I'm thinking Ranger with confessor and druid seeming quite interesting depending on what their subtypes are.

I'm surprised champion has such low results. They are a terrible class for running around the wild early game but when your village comes under attack or late game sieges are happening I would imagine they will absolutely wreck. Or when you're attacking a village with a few fortifications for that matter.

Basically any time you are fighting over an objective that can't move offensively or defensively big/slow/powerful characters are going to dominate. I hope they get a boulder hurling sub-spec to really drive that point home.

wow, American. seriously, crime index = 50.01 and claim you guys are in higher society hahahaha.

So assaulting, robbing and murdering don't count as crime, do they? surprisingly you realised stealing is a crime hahahaha

find you own country from this research and say it again haha

Also, seems your higher-society implies relatively low-IQ?

98, come on

hahaha it took me some time to scroll down and figure it out.

glad I have never meet someone who got only 2 digi IQ in my real-life.

Lesser will be lesser.

Homeless will be broke.

Your issues are our own. Get back to me when you can actually format a sentence.

Which? I was looking at the FAQs and can't find it...

You had a melee dps, a tank, and a specialist.  You're missing the Ranged DPS, or as we more commonly know them, the TR0LL Sniper.

I am assuming most players want a character or archetype that has a constant active role in campaigns so champions would not be an ideal choice. But for veteran players later on in the game, they might involve champion just to turn the tide of a really close guild vs guild campaign maybe.

In Pirate101, I played a Musketeer, which I always preferred to melee. In other, less family-friendly MMOs, I've had more interest in melee, one reason in particular being that ranged classes typically had some sort of consumable, whether that be arrows, bullets, runes, mana, etc. With melee, you just slice and dice.

In Crowfall, I just want to be something unique. I figured I might try the Ranger or Legionnaire, but seeing how popular they are, I've almost ruled them out. The best way to make yourself a necessary part of a potential team is to have one of the lesser-used archetypes. After hearing about warmth and food needs, I'm also now less inclined to go for the Champion or Centaur.

Chances are I'll try all 36 combos in beta, not including the million runes they've already discussed, and see which I like best.

In a Shadowbane-style game, the best way to make yourself a necessary part of the team is to conform conform conform.

Could we have had unique Aracoix or Nephilim Warriors, a flying swordslasher making its way over walls?  Sure.  But what your guild actually wanted was yet another Minotaur to add to the meat wagon.  Between them and centaurs, SOOO MUCH HOOFBEATING!
