5.8 LIVE Feedback and Bug Reports for 12/26/18

It's probably been reported but I wanted to call some attention:

If you have inventory/equipment on a vessel in an EK and then take that vessel to a different EK or campaign, the inventory and equipment is deleted without warning.

I lost a full inventory of EK assets to this shortly after 5.8 went live.

There is a warning when you unlock a vessel from a campaign that this will happen, but no warnings when moving between EKs.

There is a significant performance loss associated with being in a group versus being out of a group.
I am not sure if it is connected to the Green glow that is associated with group members or just a change in the way information is handled and transferred but some people are deliberately running outside of groups in 'group' combat due to practically not being able to play while in a group and fighting.

With the last restart of the game, I can not connect my champion anymore. All other characters in the account are accessible except this one.

I logged out a character inside an outpost and now that character cannot log back in. It just says "No Scenario Found".

@thomasblair The Blackguard spec lack a stealth opener, atm it's very clunky to get into combat from stealth since it's like being in the survival tray and there is no real way of getting aroudn this other than use the Z button.

What -could- solve it -very- easily is : Allow assassins to use DIFFUSION from stealth tray.  It will take the assassin out of combat, and since the Blackguard -has- a Toxin application as the only class it seems natural to do so...

The other 2 Assassins being able to use Diffusion from stealth would mean they need a toxin preapplied… so I'm not sure this would be balanced.  If it's "just" the blackguard and if that is a possiblitily then I'd love to see it happen.

I agree this is a bit clunky for the Blackguard, however I don't want a Finisher being used as an opener. I went ahead and made Backstab allowed in the Stealth Tray.

Why did you nerf "mercy" from 3% per point to 1%?  Can't have knight's dps promotion class being almost viable as dps?

Knight ultimate gives an "invulnerable" buff but doesn't provide any invulnerability.  There's no associated i-frame.  Anything that hits you during the ultimate's duration still does normal damage.

Forts

  • There's no point to them except for point turnover. It's too quick to take one, go away and it gets taken back instantly. No incentive to actually fight for these things.
  • Add some buffs to having forts. For example, having that fort give an area buff to crafting/harvesting to crafters (those with discs), have pvp slight buffs to others. Obviously allow warehouses later. So that when people attack them, they can loot the resources.
    • Rather than have forts constantly vulnerable and too easy to turn over. Make it so that having the surrounding outpost buffs the keep
    • This can be, each outpost surrounding the fort will strengthen the walls by X amount. Or you can have much stronger guards with better AIs on the walls defending, and the more outpost taken, the less guards are there to defend the fort from being taken
    • When mines and caravans are in, you will generate caravans to the fort. You can let it build up and based on some skill or contribution who can release the caravan, it will send off.
      • Master commander X can trigger a carvan for 100 of the 1000 resources there because either X contribution points or X discipine or what-not that will allow them to release more resources to escort to the fort
      • These resource will go to the fort and be sent to the warehouse. From there, you can decide if you want to keep it there and in fall/winter you can unlock the ability to export this. Or whatever version of locked out from immediately exporting stuff from the campaign. Rather it be it needs sit there and can only be done in fall/winter or if you escort again  from there to temple to be able to export some earlier.

Ah. Didn't even notice that attached there because the little foot icon. May level a new guy. Less damage with bow, but already bow damage is destroyed from the constant issues with keeping the reticle on people in all this laggy, clunky pvp that's happening right now.

I've gotten kicked to the lobby twice tonight. The first time was when I used the portal to go to Castica from the chaos temple on EU. The second time was when I recalled back to the temple.

Since the lack of Wolf meat was a surprise in the cooking thread, I rechecked all animal types for skinning harvest tonight. Right or wrong, here's what we have:

Elk = Elk meat & Strong Hide

Auroch = Elk meat & Strong Hide. Raw milk as loot.

Pack Pigs = Boar Meat & Tough Hide.

Hell Cats  = Big Cat Meat & Flexible Hide.

Wolves  = Big Cat Meat & Flexible Hide. Sacrifice items as loot

Spiders = Spider Meat & Durable Hide. Sacrifice items as loot

Note that the blog introducing Auroch suggested they would have soft hide. Soft hide is currently not harvestable.

Bugs:

- So during NA's latest siege I attempted to exit a keep gate with a number of other people simultaneously (which I think at least contributed to what happened) and ended up stuck above that gate on the keep wall, immobile. No directional key or RMB click would move me; I couldn't even jump. I began logging out and then cancelled it, which allowed my movement keys to work, but only to let me run in place. Then my jump started working suddenly and I end up leaping off the wall for some sweet fall damage. Video below for a visual.

 

- Are Half-Elves supposed to have a miscellaneous scar across their faces?

- Quite a few of the plants spawn in the air, particularly mushrooms. Shrooms like these prevent you from chopping their nearby trees.

When uding any runegate u get ported to the character select.

relogging in makes u appear in the location the runegate would have taken u

  • And crafting stone or Wood frames to level what is that all about - another crafter centric way to level your character in CF? I thought it was an in game exploit when I first heard about it..
  • Where are the great wyrm camps and some creature experience with some Rng item drops that can be used in PvP while level your character?
  • What we enjoy is a dragon who hoard treasure legendary items when you playing D&D with dices - yeah that is right get the loot economy working outside of the crafter window.
  • Crafters like Fade trolling plate mail on vendors and place it with a 25.000 gold cost in the Free city - it`s the show how broken this economy really is in this game.
  • So let items drop in 6.0 Rng items so u can improve your pvp items while farming creatures to say far away from crafting as possible.

- EU bugs when you recall or use a gate you disconnect from the game by the way. It only happens on the EU Server.

for the templar: you can see the harvesting pips when you are in combat stance and reverse wice, which is very irritating.

 

and then: mytery meat has the same symbol as boar meat. This is also irritating as you need some meat for crafting armor and you can`t find it in the bank.

still missing from on screen flytext and combat log:

druid's healing rain [the power's FX of both the rain and circle are also invisible too]

druid's soothing winds heal over time ticks [displays first tick only]

would be nice if barrier application was also tracked - e.g. barkskin [both flytext and log!]

feels bad that druid earthkeeper's oaken guard node actually removes it from applying to allies - most other promotion nodes for healers dont have a "con" in this manner...


would it be possible for a druid channeling natures avatar to see flytext or combat log of their target's attacks during? ;p

will 'chain avatar' ever return?
