Forts and keeps

Forts and keeps should be 'owned' by a guild. Gates should be able to be controlled by the guild settings. Make it a trading hub and set up vendor or guild hall for your group (because you don't trust anyone!)

Tax the gate for 10gold per entrance pay for more guards for the walls. Re-inforce the walls? Forts and keeps should be a guild task not a squad task to take.

I was just thinking this the other day. the Guild that takes the fort should be the main guild in control of the fort. Maybe a guild can control up to one or two forts. Maybe the flag that is flown is the faction flag along with the guild flag.

You can't have that in faction based campaigns as it would lead to griefing. Imagine a guild creates a second guild with the express purpose of joining a different faction, taking over a fort, and then barring everyone else in the faction from entering.

Guilds will have that kind of control in the Shadows and Dregs campaigns as they will build their own forts and keeps. There's no need for it in the faction based campaigns.
