QUESTIONS NEEDED - Zybak interview with J Todd and Blair

Here are just a few questions from the top of my head:

Background:
During July Q&A Todd referred to "large groups" as "30v30 or 50v50" when talking about sieges which are supposed to be the biggest fights in the game. Also, from the Q&A about campaigns it stated "These Campaigns are fully populated – our goal is 2000 concurrent players (which supports a total player population of about 10,000)".

Also, in a 2016 interveiw with the escapist (link), Todd mentioned the following:
"...
we need the client to be able to support hundreds of players and a single battle without it coming to a crashing halt".

Questions:
1. What is your definition of large scale pvp? Back in 2016 you spoke about "hundreds of players and a single battle" but now it sounds a little different. With 2000 concurrent players, don't you expect large groups to be bigger then say 50v50?
2. Are performance limitations the reason you try to promote a more emergent pvp envirenment with several objectives across the map (see July Q&A) instead of massive battles that take place in one specific location e.g. keeps?

1. Has anyone on the team played the MMO "Darkfall Online", which was a spiritual successor to Shadowbane by a Greek indie dev released in 2009, and what are your thoughts on it and its short life and failings? If you are unaware of it, It's been revived semi-unsuccessfully several times by fans, and may be worth having someone try it out to learn what you can from it (both good and bad), as it was also a free-aim PVP conquest sandboxish game.

 

2. Are you aware of the degree to which the WoW rogue class has been copied into Crowfall?

as a quick example. Either way, who on the team is the rogue fanboy? Since I've caught you, you have to steal shadow priest next!


3. What is, in each of your opinions, the biggest misstep that's been made so far in the development of Crowfall?

main reason i feel that game failed was the neglect for PvE players, everyone wanted pvp pvp pvp elements added but no interesting thing got added for PvE or even thought about, which is fine considering the game was pvp focused however they failed to relised alot of players enjoy pve and without those players in the game aswell you loose alot of p[layers for PvPers to hunt along with all the player in the world farming mobs.
At that stage it was a bleed effect where PvP guys ended up quitting cause they were bored cause they couldnt find anyone to kill often enough and then more resiliant people quit cause player got scare from the less resiliant pvpers leaving and just could clog the bleeding. Didnt help the game was full loot aswell so people who died lots had to craft alot to get equipment so its a little less painful dieing in crowfall but if there not carful they may fall under the same issue.

They dont need much just things like rare spawns that drop interesting things like specialy crafting recipes cosmetic stuff and so on
