Underdog bonus for Campaign Scoring

As it stands in the current campaigns, a point is a point, and one faction frequently pulls ahead leaving no hope of any other faction catching up, reducing player engagement. How do we encourage continued competition when one faction is dominant?

 

Suggestion- when points are scored multiply them by a ratio of your leading faction's points to your faction's points.

Example: Chaos is leading at 1000 points, Balance in second at 750, and Order last at 500. Every faction gains 100 points raw (somehow, despite Chaos winning, ignore that aspect for now)- adjusted points are 100 for Chaos (100*(1000/1000)), 133 for Balance (100*(1000/750), and 200 for Order (100*(1000/500))- new round totals being 1100, 883, and 700 rather than 1100, 850, and 600. 

What this means is that if a tie is held long enough, the score will approach a tie, and that being the dominant faction in the first few hours becomes less important.

Most importantly, if your faction is far enough behind, you'll close the point gap even if you lose a skirmish. This incentivizes activity and conflict, and makes the game more enjoyable for everyone, including the winning faction.

its not gonna fix the issue Arkade, expecialy if one side is super outnumbered since they wont have the players to take a juicy keep and all that.

My suggestion would be to also add score system from kills where killing players grant score if you kill somone from a faction ahead of you. So in OP senario where chaos is leading they wont get score from kills however Balance will get score from killing Chaos and Order will get score for killing anyone since there both beating Order.
This also means that the leader has 2 faction aiming for them for extra kill points and balance would have order, and order wouldnt be too focused since they arnt worth point to anyone else atm so they get a little bit of reprieve from open world PvP and potential less target to take forts from since if there a fight you potentialy giving them points if you die where they wont be giving you points

  1. Use a  faction friendly ALT,
  2. commit a bit a mass murder/suicide
  3. Proffit

Sorry, that's just not viable.

If necessary, I'm sure they will put in some sort of faction limits. Todd talked about it in the livestream today.

Put CD on kills so can score of somone who been killed each hour.

More score for players higher on the scoreboard alts wont be high up either so for example somone with 0 kills and 50 deaths wont be worth squat if anything where somone with 50 kills and low deaths would be worth alot more for example

its doable they just gotta be carful bout it take Moba for example if somone feeds they become worth 50g where somone who on a kill streak is 1k gold. thats 50g become a non factor in a game since minion are with 30-70g.
If killing the same person becomes worst than capping a tower it wont be worth it however killing players in large scale fights give bonus points to the loosing score wise it become worth fighting larger fights even if u loose cause outnumbered. It also shift focus on winning side cause therer worth points to kill compared to loosing side which allow them to farm to catch up and things
