Max 40% fall dmg when jumping off cliffs

Recommended Posts

Agreed. The nerf to fall damage was way too heavy handed.

Being bounced around by a confessor on a small hill probably shouldn't kill you. Falling from huge cliffs should.

The problem isn't the players, the problem is the game mechanic.

I mean... its fine that you do it, its not an exploit.  I'm saying the mechanic breeds cowards and shouldn't exist.

The nerf to fall dmg should of been distance of the fall increased for the dmg.

So instead of ever 10 meter making you loose 10% dmg it should of been increase to like 15m = 10% dmg and so, the number are made up as an example. So falling more than 150meter like off a cliff will still kill you where confessor knockup would be reduced from where it was before.

On a side note i can no longer run to the edge and fight trying to pull poeple off the edge when they outnumber me cause they just live anyway which kinda sucks.

W/HoA were held up as like these mystical forces of highly skilled players with legendary theorycrafters chained to a desk in some deep dungeon holding all the arcane secrets we could use to win if only we knew them.

This is probably something that the new character controller will have an effect on.

I was thinking the same thing. I don't know the scope or limits of the character controller, but if acceleration due to gravity is in there, fall damage could be linked to impact speed. A 5m fall doesn't need to be lethal. A 300m fall should introduce your ankles to your ears, the hard way.
