New Targeting System

Recommended Posts

I'm finding more and more spells that do not want to target properly with the new system.  It seems to me that everything has a "snap to nearest enemy" algorithm.

This is making some healing/defensive spells very difficult to cast if there are enemy name plates near friendlies.

If there are no enemies near, then it functions similar to what it did previously but with a smaller hitbox.

Spells I've noticed this on so far:

  1. Nature's Avatar
  2. Rescue (Field Surgeon)

In addition to that:

  1. Will-O-Wisps is still broken,
  2. Druid Orbs are not showing up for group members, they can only see the "glow"
  3. Healing Rain has no visual/ground effect.
  4. (Naiad) Water Spirit is not visible.

Wait Wisps was working on test last week. So was the bear. Water spirits wasn’t working at all. Sigh

And according to a guildie you have to repair your client and the orbs will show. I see them and he did after doing that.

It not the spells that are broken, there's a client side graphics bug. If you see graphics effects frozen in space, you're not going to see any new effects until after you reload the client.

It affects pretty much everything a fessor does, orbs, doobers, dodge animations and a load of other stuff. Pretty much anything with a flashy light.

It's been reported and acknowledged.

My balls show for myself, then eventually bug out and disappear. Will o wisp I don't think has ever worked since the new character controller . And I can start holding down left mouse button and go behind a wall and still have the same target
