ACE Q&A Livestream April 8th 11 AM CST / 6 PM CEST

This month, the APRIL ACE Q&A Livestream is moving to THURSDAY APRIL 8th at 11 AM CDT (6 PM CEST).  We are excited to share upcoming plans and, as usual, we will have a few content reveals and surprises, followed by our community Q&A.

<QUESTION>What will the long running campaigns look like? If campaigns start to get the population to fill a server will we also be seeing campaigns with more than 5 combat zones? What is the expected "size" of a typical campaign in launch?

<QUESTION> Campaign reward card descriptions are a little vague as is the scoring system behind them.  Would you be willing to make that transparent so we can assess how we are doing on these tasks during a campaign?  Could you also inform us of the math behind how the points are calculated?  For instance, when a card says "per member" is that per guild member in the campaign or total?  Another example from current campaign, does sacrificing items to "any God" mean the God shrines in the Earth/Moon/Sun Temples work as well as those in the world?

<QUESTION> Will ACE commit to giving us a 6 weeks (or longer) advance notice to launch?  Here's the issue, most of my guildmates AND many other players don't want to burnout from being in beta for months prior to launch. We want to know when to hop in with enough time to work out how to play the game so as to be ready for a fast start at launch. We can't do that if ACE has a 'surprise' announcement, ie. CF will be launching next Tuesday. We had very short announcement lead times for Alpha and Beta.

<QUESTION> what are the plans to make the player ran economy come into the forefront? Will a free-build dregs also include the ability to set up Vendors in and out of controlled walls? I would love the ability to set up my own "free city" market somewhere deeper in a campaign.

<Question> What are the plans to provide the sheer amount of resources that will be needed to pacify a robust population? Examples: 1. in Dregs there are only a few areas on the map to kill mobs for xp, and far less to also acquire gold to buy a seed or to improve crafter runes and belts. Right now one person can pretty much farm one of these areas themselves unless there is a chief or above spawned. 2. Graveyards are very limited with 2-6 per zone, and 4 graves per location. With an 7-8 minute respawn time this does not give enough resources to outfit even one guild of 100, much less 20 guilds of 100. 3. there simply are not enough non basic trees, animals, ore, and rocks to support a playerbase as you expect. Trees are pretty far apart and only 3 grow in a spot. Animals are the same. Stone an Ore are a little better but still need to be bunched up more. (you see a group of 6 Granite motherlodes, but rarely see a group of 6 anything else).

In shadowbane, each zone would have about 12-15 camps with mobs. So if there were 20 zones there were 250+ places to farm gold etc. In crowfall on a Dregs map we have a total of about 12 or so, additionally most camps would pretty much require a group to farm it, and could not really be solo'd (macrod warlocks and furies excepted, but they still needed another player or two to loot and bank) if they were approx equal level.

I understand that limited resources will promote pvp, and in no way am suggesting that resources should be available like candy, or they should not be fought over, But the amount of resources available really needs to be looked at. Right now to support a population of 1000 a all the maps on dregs would have to be 10x larger and/or 10x more resource dense.

[Question] How will Crowfall mitigate an alliance zone capping for keep/castle fights to prevent other alliances from participating?

<QUESTION> Is there a vision for each promotions role when designing?  If so, would it be possible to speak on that so we can tailor our class feedback to support such?

<Question> What are you doing to address the 'game is boring', 'no content', 'nothing to do' criticism that gets thrown around frequently by new players and burned-out vets.

<Question> Will we see improvements to the social UI features before launch? Multiple channels in chat, functional group UI with less reliance on slash commands, LFG, and Friends.

I feel like im flogging a dead horse here but let try again

Question: What plans do you have for a proper territory system in crowfall

Questions: Any plans to add more thing to do in the open world throughout the game outside of seige system in campaign worlds, Hunger dome doesnt count here cause i consider it a battle ground instance 

Question: How will you make room for the little/medium size guild in the conquest/territoy system the only ones that can realy compete there to any real degree is the 2-3 biggest zergs that happen to be on the server. Any small guild feel left out and neglected when it comes to crowfall and most guild in MMO are small/med size atm it seem ur just catering for zergs which will be a mistake when game comes out as u loose major population from smaller guilds who feel they cant compete.


Question: Whats ur plan to deal with WT armor vs mid/low end crafted stuff atm there no room for low and mid end crafted gear since WT gear overshadows them until you basicly finished maxing our ur craft.

<Question> More and more small and medium size clans are trying out the game and leaving because the game currently has systems that force you in to large clans and alliances.  Do you have any plans in the game (not outside of the game like battle royals) to break up massive zergs or to add content for small/med size clans?

Guilds need the option to see who is online. Will something be added so we can see who is online, in game or can you add the /who command so it works in guild chat?

<QUESTION> The likelihood of a new player sticking with Crowfall is greatly affected by their interactions and perceived role within their guild. When will we see tools like a GUILD UI added in-game?

<QUESTION> What is the rationale for penalizing movement speed on jumping and how do we think this will positively affect gameplay?

<QUESTION> In Crowfall it is a leader's job to open the map virtuously to steer his or her team towards the right objectives. This is an extremely crucial skill in Dregs. Can the pesky lag upon opening the world map be eliminated once and for all so that navigation becomes smoother and the character's movement speed is no longer visibly hindered?

<QUESTION> I think the monthly Q&A's are great to keep the community informed and together. What other plans do you have for the ongoing issue of player retention?

<QUESTIONWhen will you be looking to change the progression systems for both gathering and crafting?

I am pretty sure you said in a previous Q & A that the current system is only a temporary placeholder.
