TEST Patch Notes

Damnation dot on Divine light is off the charts insane. 200 True damage/2 seconds for 15 or so seconds. 1500 true damage to anyone who ever stepped into a divine light is awful for game balance. It can be cleansed but it reapplies every tick of divine light and Sun Worshiper cleanse only protects you for 2 seconds. Reduce duration, cut damage or remove this entirely. At a minimum make it fire damage. True damage is bad for the game.

Neckbreaker still overpowered and ruining the game. This is from 6.510 on test but its unchanged. If we're not going to nerf it can we at least make ults not charge out of combat so people cant walk into a fight with 2 neckbreakers precharged? Would be better for the game if ultimates were built up during combat. No one has fun dying to an Alpha who hit them with 3 ults in 10 seconds if they even last that long. Did I mention its auto crit AoE?

I was looking at the exploration discipline and see no difference between Weaponsmith and Armorsmith. Why have items with different name but the same effect?

The difference is which Crafting Belt they unlock. Blue or better Weaponsmith unlocks the Weaponsmith Crafting Belt, Armorsmith unlocks Armorsmith Crafting Belt. The belts unlock different crafting additives and provide different reduced recipe resource costs.

Is there talk about inter-connecting the worlds? IE No God's Reach, Infected, Campaign... Just 1 bigger world that is persistent (for one in game year, so all seasons cycle) where you are able to que for Hunger Dome inside there?  The splitting of the community feels really terrible in CF.

I don't see anywhere else to put this but... Some feedback on HungerDome snaptests:

  • Like the changes to the ring and the areas around the final ring, but it still feels like to many rounds are determined by the hunger in the end.
  • Dislike the placement of random mobs around the map. It's just feels kinda willy-nilly. Also dislike the hunger villages where bunches of chests spawn. Mobs and chests need to be organized into more distinct objectives to both improve the presentation and feel of the map, and to force teams to make tough decisions about contesting an objective even if they might run into another team. The one exception to this should be the very outside of the map where players start. Encouraging teams to avoid conflict in the midgame and run around farming mobs in open areas seems counter to the goals of the game mode, and makes for very slow periods of each match.
  • Still very much dislike the 3D map for this game mode. It needs an accurate, top-down, 2D map that shows all the buildings, etc. Needed for planning rotations.

Maybe its me but if the developers in the Lobby chat are noticing that teams are pretty tanky and not really killing anyone during the whole event then there might need to be a slight change for to the group composition before the tourney for instance limiting groups to 1 Support, 1 Defense and the rest Damage. Also heard someone say that no one killed anyone till the very end or at all because the game mode isn't about killing. You just need to survive the final closing of the Hunger circle. If some quick tweaks for instance with group comps at least then you will see this happening at the opening of the tourney as well where the most exciting moment will be the last 5 seconds of the match and even then it might be dull cause its people standing around throwing aoe heals down.
