The change to Infected that faster killing of mobs increases their spawn rate is applied to some Dregs villages. If you kill the mobs within a parcel quick enough (easily if only a small part of that village is in that parcel), you can increase the spawn rate each time so you can make inordinate amounts of Dregs gold

When does damage occur!

With the current system Crowfall is using - damage is applied to those in the area of effect... at the time of the button PRESS.  Not when the ability lands.

This is a super broken and frustrating mechanic that makes some classes super OP and other classes super squishy.  You can't outplay.  You can't avoid damage purely by being a mobile and agile player/character.

Is this -seriously- how you want this system to function?

Needs to check for range at end of animation. Seems to check while going up which leaves little to no ability to dodge the ability even though it has an animation that should be dodgeable if it checked at the right time.

One of the worse design decisions in the game, IMO.

Isn't this what they wanted to address via this change:

  • Assassin and Myrmidon single-target melee powers will now wait until the impact should happen to acquire its target. This will allow those powers to be a bit more fluid in aiming and re-aiming to intended targets.

Which they wanted feedback for so they can gauge if they roll this functionality out to all class and discipline skills.
No idea if that would mean it will apply to AoE effects as well.

Not sure if there was any follow-up on that, or if anyone actually noticed a difference on Assassin and Myrm.

This needs to just be DONE, not tested to see if it works on the Myrm nor the Assassin.  This is something that is so influential on the game that it doesn't matter if the Myrm or the Assassin are fluent in their game play, it's about all powers landing on the ANIMATION... not the key press.

Why else is there an animation?  To mock us?

The principle behind this needs to change.  It's been like this for way too long and a slow roll out of "lets test the water first" is just a way too leniant versiou imo.

I agree, just pointing out that they did some steps towards that but I haven't seen any feedback on it or any further follow-up from ACE.

It was just mentioned in the Q&A, something along the lines of it being such a big change that they don't want to roll it out to all classes and discs immediately, but rather wait for how it is received on those 2 classes.

Imo would be cool to async AB-test this in Hunger Dome. Have it running for a day with that change and for a day without it.

Woodworker buff in EK doesn't seem to be working.

The EK statue that gives crafting buffs doesn't work for woodworking. I'm on the parcel and am not receiving the thrall buff or whatever it's called. Other crafting professions seem to get the buff.
