Emu 0 Share Posted July 4, 2021 For instance, mining discipline has a complementary discipline Forman. Are there similar complementary disciplines for crafting disciplines?
UnderGrowth 214 Share Posted July 4, 2021 (edited) You can slot more than one Crafting Discipline yes (With the exception of Weaponsmithing and Armorsmithing which cannot be equipped at the same time due to sharing the blacksmithing stat), but they don't have complementing "rare' disciplines like the gathering does. However any particular craft does tend to require items from other crafts. It's worth noting you can easily swap disciplines in and out too. veeshan 1,918 Share Posted July 4, 2021 kinda and kinda not. Each craft takes basicly 2 crafts to run so you can use your second disc slot to for the sub craft. So weapon smith for example can use leather crafting disc so they can make there own grips but unless you wanna invest alot of time in it you better of finding an actualy leather working for grips if your trying to make good items, it work pretty well if your just grinding low level weapon for discapline drops though. I realy wish they would expand on crafting tree via like a crafting talent tree in the future so crafters get choices on there builds aswell. atm that is excruciatingly small option in regard to wether or not u increase your assembly or experimentation cap with enchants soo yeah wtb crafting class/talent tree to expand alot in that area. I'd really rather not make a tedious system even more tedious, when we finally got some headway on it being less tedious. not to mention the balance headache it would cause, enchanting is going to be bad enough as it is if they ever actually add more to it.
