Forum access

My forum access has changed and I can only post here.

Support told me to log out and in and clear browser data. I did that, no change.

Most people who can post anywhere are in the forum groups "testers" or "members" I appear to not be in any of those forum groups any more.

Did you receive a game pack as a gift? I wonder if the forum scripts are looking at 'purchase history' in stead of 'rewards' to check if we have a copy of the game.

Okay checking my logs, I was able to post in other forums at the beginning of August as a free trial account.

I received a base game pack as a gift at the end of the month of August and still had posting privileges.

Some time around the beginning of September I no longer had posting privileges.

So either 'free trial' had more privileges than a game owner, they changed who has privileges, or the scripts that check are broken in some way.

If you go to the rewards section of account info on the main website while logged in as OldVamp, do you see rewards for "Forum Access" and "Digital Game Copy"?

Oh, oops.

Yea, something is broken for sure. I'd bug them again. Those "suggested fixes" aren't going to solve it for you. They need to fix it.

yeah support doesn't know what they are doing, I'm just getting "the script"

I put in my email that I had already tried clearing cache, logging out and in. they just sent the same crap back to me.

I have gotten this "solution" from support 3 times now.

I've done it multiple times. SOMETHING IS BROKEN PLEASE FIX IT!

I had this same problem.

This is how I fixed it:

I went to https://community.crowfall.com/

And there's a small button that says "complete my profile" - you have to select your language.  After that I'm able to post to other forums.

I can't take a screenshot because the button disappears after I select a language.  I will probably make a new account just to get a screenshot.  But this is probably the fix, not sure why support doesn't know this though.
