Anything but ''kobold'' bards! Please spare me from playing a kobold !! xD I already have a kobold as a pet in a DnD campaign!

D&D is was fond of dragon blood kobold sorcerer.

I also like the idea of a kobold sapper. Grenades, traps and a big boom on death.

As for the bard, i would enjoy a good support archtype as an option.

IF bard exist I would like it more of a discipline rather than archetype.

I am legitimately banned from playing kobolds in my D&D groups...

I actually worked on Pun Pun and also the Hulking Hurler, I used to spend a LOT of time on the Optimization boards.

Anyways, turtle race lol ;p

Awww.

That would be such an adorable archetype!

Also, the evolution thing could be a specialization.

A solid quote, I'd say.

You know there is a thread about exotic races maybe visit and post your ideas?

I am pretty sure we have not discussed exotic races before. There was a thread about NASCAR somewhere though.

Reminded me of that ostrich guy in the Prince of Persia movie.

Bard as a discipline is an interesting idea

Wait...

What kind of kobold are we talking about in here?

The scaly lizard/dog hybrid kind like in dungeons and dragons?

The irish little-guy-with-beard type?

The furry doglike kind like in SNES era JRPGs?

If it is the lizards sign me up. I love the little guys.

Bards are generally awesome, so I'd love some of them, too. Games can never have enough bards.

Constant optimism will not solve your problems,

but it will annoy enough people to be worth the effort.

I always wanted to be a giant spider.

Not a spider-centaur, not a spider with humanoid features, but an actual sentient spider. With armor and gnarly weapons strapped on to appendages, heraldry stenciled on to the carapace by allies, and creepy psychic talk-voices.

Archetype advantages: Racial climbing anything proficiencies, can directly consume mobs rather than packaged food, variety of racial trap options.

Archetype disadvantages: Can't deal ranged damage, large hitbox, can't jump, weird physiology makes support skills less effective on them.

I remember seeing both gnoll style kobalds and lizard ones. I think after a while gnolls became their own thing and kobalds became the skinny lizard men with long faces we know today.

With the Archetype system there's the freedom for a lot of variety down the line, but I am so down for a Kobold/Reptilian style Archetype. Personally not sure of bard, maybe as a promotion, but yeah!

LOTRO monsterplay. Gobblemoss the spider was one of the most notorious monsterplayers across all servers.
