Then you might like bacon-wrapped mushrooms (if you like mushrooms). Take a button mushroom, wrap a slice of bacon around it, and pin everything together with a toothpick. Bake at 350F for 20 minutes.

bacon was on sale today. Picked up some applewood bacon and some peppered bacon.   Thanks bacon thread!

Best you split, really.  No bacon compatibility is never a good sign. 

Crispy not burnt.    And YES, the oven.  Baking is best for bacon.

We just found this out last year. It felt like sacrilege, but it makes perfect bacon every time. For the record I like it half way.

Limp bacon is just disgusting. Even the word "limp" (when used as an adjective) conjures all manner of awful images.

 

I don't even like my pasta limp.

 

Would you prefer moist bacon?
