I figured it would be fun to share favorite songs or music you enjoy listening to while gaming. Maybe it can help others find new jams.

Some things on my playlist:

A Sky Full of Stars - Coldplay

Ain't it Fun - Paramore

Animals - Maroon 5

Demons - Imagine Dragons

Elastic Hearth - Sia

Elements - Lindsey Stirling

Ghost - Mystery Skulls

Stolen Dance - Milky Chance

For all my songs I have a Spotify playlist.

Am I doing something methodical or repetitive? XX - The Intro on repeat

Am I about to squat over someone's cheerios? Dustsucker - Jens Kiilstofte until the deed is done.

Do I need a rather healthy amount of inspiration to undock? We Own It - 2 Chainz because Redline was deliciously lulzy.

Do I need inspiration but don't feel gangster? Sub Par Music - Iron Giant usually fits the bill.

What am I listening to to get ready for Crowfall? NieR OST specifically Grandma.

Shpongle - Nothing Lasts...But Nothing is Lost (Shpongle – Nothing Lasts...But Nothing Is Lost )

FF7 Soundtrack ( Unknown Album )

Some anime music from time to time such as Para Para Max 1-5, those things are hella good and need to be reuploaded to Youtube imo. I may end up doing it myself here soon.

I actually prefer no custom background music when I'm not fooling around or fighting the UI (crafting sessions). Sounds are often important indicators of what's happening around you. For anything single player or just for fun the original soundtrack usually complements the game the best.

Could be me, but I feel like not playing the game at 100% with other music running in the background while also not giving the awesome music the attention it deserves. So there are two good things distracting me from each other, leaving me unable to fully enjoy any of them.

I actually listen to a lot of the game music and sounds and it's rare if I am to listen to my play list. In the right mood it comes in handy! Usually I have my music playing when I am not gaming. I have a treadmill in my office so it's use with running a lot. What do you like when not gaming? It doesn't have to be restricted to while playing.

Golly, to have an office <3 I might be able to fit a trampoline in here if I plan it VERY CAREFULLY.

I'm crazy about mentally building stuff. Everything I see I mentally build a back story for, the Overhead Light of Justice is a thing that exists in my world, and that I have shared with my friends (it's a street light in a church parkinglot that's run off the church's generator so it doesn't go out ... ever) and we've built scenarios and half-hearted roleplay sessions around. I'll get bored and invent something like a species and it'll evolve into a planet and I'll try to convey that onto paper but it never works right XD. Call it day dreaming, ADD, short attention span... I enjoy humoring it, and am grateful for Crowfall because it's lit that part of my mind up like the sun.

The music I listen to changes monthly. Once I listen to some songs over and over again, I find new ones while browsing and the cycle continues. However, most of it is EDM, and pop that has incorporated EDM (like Cash Cash)
