Dakyn 206 Share Posted June 27, 2015 Anyone notice anything about being able to customize weapon, armor, and clothing colors? This has often been an big request in may other games and helps to prevent people from looking identical. That and guild cloaks and such to improve visually identifying friendly VS opponent players at a distance. TheBirne and Maxima
Adall 3,895 Share Posted June 27, 2015 (edited) I believe they plan to include it, and I agree this is always a solid feature! Guild cloaks and such are also neat, hopefully they can implement them in a good way. Edited June 27, 2015 by Adall Maxima and TheBirne
Maxima 83 Share Posted June 27, 2015 Saw this a bit ago: Speaking of some armor needing dyeing... That's why I"m against my characters having six packs. He should be rocking a beer belly and cardboard armor -- coz that's how I look when I play. (In all seriousness and off-topic: a google image search for cardboard armor is pretty epic) Fully support Dyeing and lots of colours. Being able to make patterns with dyes would be neat, also. Maxima 83 Share Posted June 28, 2015 Oh, so you want to go Scottish and have you own tartan then? Why so linear? Was thinking of something to help blend in. Nothing too crazy but now you said Scottish, dyes could be used in face-paints. Dakyn 1 "Signals, Sound off Plates and Greaves! Line up! Maxima 83 Share Posted June 29, 2015 Camouflage colorations? Ohhhh,.... nice idea. Thanks! Camouflage Colorations. Nice wording! That and adding colors to patterns which could also be Crafter designed and created through Crafter-made Dye Kits. Am thinking in terms of Planetside 2's player and vehicle camo without the Cash Store. Crafters should be using tools. More design tools, too... and not as an add-on editor but in-game. Player-designed and crafted dyes. Good idea. Makes sense and hopefully not all things cosmetic are to just to make dollars in a Cash Store. Dakyn 1 "Signals, Sound off Plates and Greaves! Line up! Dakyn 206 Author Share Posted June 29, 2015 (edited) I have no doubt there will be alot of people looking to be "The Black Knight" with all deepest black gear. Edited June 29, 2015 by Dakyn
Mondasin 65 Share Posted July 1, 2015 Would be nice to see about some dying armor sets and the timeframe for the day/night cycle. Being able to select the right dye for what time of day you are playing at so blend better into the scenery. Maxima 1 Landmimes, the silent killer. Your arms off!" "No it isn't." "Well what's that then?" *King Arthur points to the severed arm of the Black Knight lying on the ground* "I've had worse." "You liar!" "Come on you pansy!"
