Guild criteria:

  • Region: EU
  • Atmosphere: Mature with a sense of humour.
  • Casual/Hardcore?: Casual friendly, young family prevents me from committing too much time to games these days.
  • Size: Medium to large.
  • Play-Style: I'm not sure at this point. I like to play healers, so group activities and PvP will probably be my priorities when I'm online.
  • Commitment: As mentioned; young family. So may be called away at short notice. Otherwise I'll do all I can to aid the group in its endeavours and hope to make the most of my time online.
  • Miscellaneous: Work shifts so might affect my prime time availability.
  • Experience: Lots; started online gaming back in the 90's with Unreal, Air attack and MUD2. Played mostly FPS's until WoW came out when I made the switch to MMO's. Dabbled in a few MMO's before WoW and have played most of the popular titles in some form or another. Currently mostly play Overwatch casually.

If your guild is a good fit then please get in touch.

Thanks,

Morv

Guild criteria:

  • Region: NA (PST)
  • Atmosphere: Mature goal oriented. I like to work towards goals even if its a small one like gather resources to upgrade the keep or something.
  • Casual/Hardcore?: A bit of both, while I do like to have goals I want to make sure I enjoy myself while working towards things and not be treated as a piece of meat. Also while the game is still in pre alpha I don't know where ill be in my life and what responsibilities and commitments ill have when the game actually releases.
  • Size: Medium-large I would like for there to be someone always on to play with as my hours of the day are always off balanced
  • Play-Style: So I want to be a crafter, run mass production and harvest materials but still want to participate in the occasional campaign to not get bored
  • Commitment: So for the next few tests I don't have school and therefore have all the time in the world but when the actual game comes out I do plan on being online regularly but not religiously
  • Miscellaneous: So about me I'm 27 a student I game regularly Dota 2, CS Go, Hearthstone are probably my top played games. I'm not very good at any of them but still enjoy them none the less. I've always wanted to play a good mmo and couldn't afford to play WoW while it was new and fresh. I tried the elder scrolls online but didn't like it, it felt like every other mmo go do this go do that collect 2412412 of these and bam you are already lvl 20. I am really interested in what the team here is doing with crowfall and am excited to be participating in the testing.

Experience:

  • Rust: Mostly played before they overhauled the system a couple hundred hours I love harvesting resources and relaxing. Building bases and crafting weapons and everything else and just going out and killing people

  • I've played a lot of the free MMOs out there and I usually get to max lvl or close and just get bored and never play again.
  •
  • Travian: Played this for a couple years, got into it religiously while I was in the service. I would wake up every few  hours and make sure I was raiding bases consistently. I would go out of my way to destroy my enemies. I am a bit of a narcissist and I did enjoy seeing my name on the leaderboards and the little sleep I had because of that was worth it.

Voice-Chat services:

  • I have teamspeak but will obviously download another free voice chat service

Looking for guild

Hi,

I'm searching for a, preferable, EU guild that would like to have a nice dude that plays a couple of hours / day.

I am currently in Alpha testing and have not tried every class yet, but i did like Confessor. I am curious about the Frostweaver and the tanks too.

I am a Pvp'er, that's for sure. PvP'ed lot back in the days in various types of games. Been playing FPS and MMORPGS since the age of 14-15, today im 30. So it would be nice with a guild that preffers "older" gamers :)

I live in Sweden so my timezone is UTC+1.

I would like to join a guild that maybe isn't to hardcore but hardcore enough if you know what I mean :) I would be focusing very much on harvesting and crafting. It would be nice to have a guild that i can rely on when it comes to being ganked out harvesting for the upcoming imperial palace ;)

If you think this sounds good and would like a chat with me don't hesitate to contact me.

Cheers all crows,

Kalevra

Ultimately I'm looking for a crew that's playing to crush.  I played extensively in the pre-CN and later CN-eras under a variety of names and wasn't awesome at the game, but did some killing.  I've come quite a way in gaming since those days.  I've even tackled Magicbane/SMU but in neither case were my times and the teams I met with, playing at similar times.  Just too dead of an environment to be enjoyable.

I've fought with and against teams like Presidents, Scorn, KGB, Evil Bastages, Undaunted, HoA, Jellyfish etc and glad to see so many of them back in the hunt here.

Hoping to find an established, PvP oriented, play to crush type team where I can learn this new game and contribute as a true asset to dominating opponents.  RL of course exists, I'm 45, full time career in the military, married etc, so I cannot game 24/7 but figure once I learn the game, I can do enough damage when I'm on.  Gaming is my primary hobby (like many of us here - and the wife doesn't mind, keeps me from barhopping or something similar) so I'll put in the hours if I'm with a team.

Prefer "tryhard" much over casual.  Just understand, I literally bought the backer package 15 minutes ago and know nothing about the game, mechanics, quality builds etc yet. I'm not a poor sport, win or lose, don't put any energy into trash-talk or forum-warrioring, I simply play to win.  I don't feel like ya gotta be a unpleasant person about it if you don't (or if ya do).

Guild criteria:

  • Region: North America (EST)
  • Atmosphere: Friendly but absolutely playing to CRUSH
  • Casual/Hardcore?: Time permitting (RL comes first) Hardcore.  I played and truly enjoyed SB back in the day and expect this to be even better.
  • Size: Size isn't as material to me as strength of the playerbase.  Small groups can work havoc if it's a tight team.  Prefer a group that's organized, willing to take a CF newb under their wing a bit and help me grow into an asset in PvP.
  • Play-Style: Combat over all other facets of the game; will do what resource gathering/crafting is required to keep us competitive.
  • Commitment:  Will likely be playing this game exclusive to all others once it goes live and in the meantime just want to learn the game.
  • Miscellaneous: .

Experience:

  • UO
  • Asheron's Call (Darktide full PvP server, and as a PvP on another server)
  • EQ2
  • WoW, WHO, Rifts, SWOTOR, ESO, DDO and others (all decent enough games but the PvP aspect wasn't strong enough or immersive enough to keep me enthralled)
  • Age of Conan (former member of Ascendant there as well as Legion of Flames, as well as Ranger Advocate for a significant amount of time)
  • Various FPS and simulator style combat games (Mechwarrior Online is an ongoing favorite)

Voice-Chat services:

  • Prefer TS3, but will use Discord, Vent...whatever the team is using frankly.

Guild criteria:

  • Region: US East
  • Atmosphere: A well oiled machine during events/campaigns, yet friendly and mature during down time.
  • Casual/Hardcore?: Hardcore. I want a guild with clear guidelines/structure, not a group full of chaos, drama, and temper tantrums (I know most of us have experienced this with a guild in our MMO Career).
  • Size: I don't have a defined guild size. I'm focused on finding a hardcore guild with an established system of teamwork, whether this is a small/medium guild with strong alliances or a large guild with leadership capable of maintaining continuity. Also, if the guild is large I don't want to see just the leaders always in a locked channel, only to come out when its time for a group event. I'm sure we have all experienced this annoying phenomenon.
  • Play-Style: I'm a strong player that is very adaptable. I understand the ability (especially in this game) to change classes to guild build/strategies is very important. I enjoy learning all the classes/builds to use and to recognize the enemies moves.
  • Commitment: I'm all in on Crowfall. This is a combination of most my favorite elements of prior MMOs. From the siege/rushing of AA to player focused economy of Galaxies.
  • Miscellaneous: I look forward to hearing from your guild leaders!

Experience:

  • Star Wars Galaxies (2003-2005) - Hardcore PvP/Hardcore alt crafter Quit after Combat Upgrade (the single worst moment/business decision in MMO history)
  • World of Warcraft (2005off/on2011) - Played with guild members that left Galaxies due to upgrade
  • Guild Wars (2005-2006)
  • Rift (2011-2014) - Hardcore PvP/PvE - Left to try other game but always went right back.
  • Star Wars the Old Republic (2011) - Went in Hardcore but was extremely disappointed with the game.
  • Guild Wars 2 (2012-2013) - Played only with a core group of Rift Guild members.
  • Elder Scrolls Online (2014) - Was a filler till Arch age came out.
  • Archage (2014-2016) - Hardcore PvP
  • Black Desert (2016) - Played a bit on Russian servers. Wasn't impressed.

Voice-Chat services:

  • No preference.

Any former Shadowbane guilds here? Specifically the Irekei guild, Varekai?

I have some of my best gaming memories with Varekai. It started with us RPing during a Feature Character event, later getting our own guild specific event with the Dragon and then taking over the desert, either by force or by adding sworn guilds.

Anyway, I am interested in recreating that in Crowfall and would love to connect with the old gang.

-------

I should add:

  • Region: East Coast US
  • Atmosphere: Mature with a sense of humour.
  • Casual/Hardcore?: Casual friendly.
  • Play-Style: Love PvP and typically melee DPS. Don't mind dying if it's for a good cause.
  • Commitment: Weekend nights and maybe a week day here or there. Happy to jump on for battles if I get a heads up.
  • Experience: I've tried most PvP MMOs since the late 90's. Had some of my favorite times with Shadowbane (see above) and Warhammer Online (flawed but fun).

Guild criteria:

  • Region: North America (West Coast)
  • Atmosphere: Mature, 30+ crowd. No drama, no raging.
  • Casual/Hardcore?: Mid/Hardcore. My family and job come first, but I'm serious about achieving goals.
  • Size: Prefer not too big, guilds that just recruit everyone become unmanageable piles of garbage.
  • Play-Style: Not a crafter. I've played melee types since before vanilla WoW and would prefer to stay with that.
  • Commitment:  Depending on how good the game is, probably some evenings and weekends. Not sure I can do set 'raid nights' all the time, but I play when I can.
  • Miscellaneous: I've been playing online games since I could log into MUDs via library telnet. Been a guild officer or guild leader too many times. Don't have any patience for short tempers or people who get insulted over games. Don't mind RP but not super into it.

Experience:

  • PvP/PvE text MUD (Xyllomer)
  • WoW from Vanilla to modern day, raided in pretty much every expansion

Voice-Chat services:

Have Discord, can reinstall others if necessary.

Guild criteria:

  • Region: UK
  • Atmosphere: Looking for a guild laid back, preferably for over 40's.
  • Casual/Hardcore?: Casual, due to work commitments I cant be on every night
  • Size: I'd prefer a small to medium sized guild but not too fussy.
  • Play-Style: Love wandering, collecting, and eventually a bit of fighting
  • Commitment: Crowfall most nights when I am allowed
  • Miscellaneous: I like cider...lots of it, and McKeown's 80/-, which is in decline.

Experience:

  • Been a gamer for 30 years. When it comes to fantasy MMO I was on Ultima online for a couple of years. But my main games have always been strategy or football Manager.

Voice-Chat services:

  • Whatever is applicable.

Alright with the implementation of Necromancy it seems that I am missing out on some major test content by not having a guild, so it was about time I did this.

Guild criteria:

  • Region: West coast, but preferrably a global guild since I also spend weeks in the EU from time to time.
  • Atmosphere: I´d like a guild where one can maintain adult converation and play. No drama, but not a silent mailing list full of strangers either.
  • Casual/Hardcore?: Casual to mid-hardcore. I cannot commit to regular schedules due to sporadic work travel, but I do like to take things seriously and try my best when I can get online.
  • Size: Medium to large (since I may suffer disconnected periods I'd fit better in a guild that can mitigate irregularity through numbers)
  • Play-Style: I would like to focus on prospection and exploration, some basic self-reliance survival crafting, and solid self-defense combat training. Ideally making quick resource runs and being back soon to be available as auxiliary troop, but not a core war specialist.
  • Commitment: Depending on work and commitments. Sometimes I can do 30h weekends and 3h evenings on workdays, but I may as well be unable to connect at all for a fortnight.
  • Miscellaneous: I would prefer a guild that is active in the west coast test server. I´m a hoarder and a completionist in most games, so expect inventory micromanagement and always voting for taking the scenic routes.

Experience:

  • LOTRO
  • GW2
  • low level SWTOR and Lineage 2
  • many many low quality f2p fantasy MMORPGs I am extremetly ashamed to name
  • ARK
  • Rust
  • LoL
  • All the strategy videogames. Aaaaaaaall of them.

Voice-Chat services:

  • Will use whatever (TS,Razer...) but if it works on linux or browser (Discord, Curse) it would be even better.

Let see,

I never really been part of a guild, the first mmo I played was ever quest as a super causal player. I was a bard that never got past level 20. I then moved on to dcuo. That game got super boring super quick. I then been playing gw2 for a while now. Don't have a guild on there either. I probably either be a healer or a stealth base class. I only play one class not a fan of alt. If you wanna know more hit me up

  • Region:  US West

  • Atmosphere:  Mature
  • Casual/Hardcore: Hardcore
  • Size: Medium to Large
  • Play Style: Primarily Support. I prefer mastering all classes though. need to know what each class is vulnerable to and that's the best way to do it
  • Commitment: I generally stick with 1 guild and stop looking until the guild dissolves
  • About me: Late 20s' Male, not much patience for peoples bitching.

Experience:

Currently playing Rust between CF tests.

played most every MMO I can find, had a great time playing Darkfall and Dark Souls lately.

Guild criteria:

  • Region: West Coast or CST
  • Atmosphere: Mature
  • Casual/Hardcore?: Mix of both?  I have a family so
  • Size: No preference
  • Play-Style: Support or Range, I am thinking of Druid, Ranger, Confessor, possibly Assassin later.  I'll craft to get my gear but after that, I want to fight
  • Commitment: I'll  stick around as long as there are people active.
  • Miscellaneous: I'm 35 and have a family as mentioned above so I mainly play at night and having a west coast of MST/CST guild mainly would mean most time with them. I am also taken away at times because of work but will always find a way to get in game.

Experience:

  • WoW
  • Warhammer Online
  • Tera
  • Rift
  • GW
  • GW2
  • Name it and I've probably played it or at least followed it a bit.  Just have played too many to think of here.
