Questions about layaway

Recommended Posts

Hey folks,

maybe someone can answer me this question. When I layaway a package do I benefit from that package even I have not fully paid it?

And can I pay the rest through paypal? Or do I need to use a credit card.

1)You will get certain benefits.

-Forum posting

-Badge for the pledge threshold you have paid off.(pledges)

-Testing access to the pledge threshold  equivalent to how much you have paid off.

Example:

You pledged Sapphire on Layaway.

Your first payment was $175 which is the equivalent to paying off a gold package.

You will receive Gold badge, Forum posting, and Alpha 2 access as it is equivalent to purchasing a gold pledge for that amount.

2)Yes you can use Paypal

If I cannot put anything else towards my layaway package can I change my package to whatever one my amount I paid in layaway falls under?

I would also like to know the answer to this question.

If I have a package on layaway that isn't fully paid for by the end of the year, do the benefits of that 2015 package drop to the new 2016 package?

You won't get the 2016 package. You purchased a 2015 package which you are paying in parts. So a 2015 package with all it's benefits is what you will receive.

Canth is correct, except that if you fail to complete the layaway within 18 months from your initial buy-in, the package goes away and your deposited funds revert to your wallet. You would be able to use that money towards whatever is in the store at that time.
