Pre-Alpha Skill List

Recommended Posts

During Hunger Dome 1.1 we finally had access to "Skill Training." It felt more like a test of the system (will it increase over time correctly) and we felt no difference in play while raising them. However, it did open up the current list of possible skills we will have.

***I'll edit this as new skills come in or if some are moved, modified or merged. Please let me know if a skill is missing.***

I'm seeing a lot more skills that make melee do their job better than I see skills for casters.

so there's no great hammer or great sword?

Not yet. We don't know how large a percentage of the final skill list this one represents.

And considering the Templar has been shown wielding a two-handed sword I'm fairly certain we'll see it added sometime in the future.

There is a "Two Handed Sword Proficiency" already in the list so I guess that covers it. Also there is like an axe / hammer hybrid that you can get as a Champion. I am just glad that the Pistol Proficiency is in already.

I AM ME!
I love you all.

i missed that. i had seen the templar promotion class so I concluded that it was just gonna be a templar thing. Idk, I'm filled with a lot more questions, but since this is not quite official, I'll wait for ACE's posts.

I totally missed that, thanks for pointing it out.

Other than maybe a general idea of what skills might be, I wouldn't put too much weight into this.  It's still super early.  So if you don't see something... it's a work in progress, I'm sure.

lol, I thought Keaggan was Dev007 for sure, but he is just Keaggan.  ^_^

I`ve great memories from SB with interesting proficiency as well in that list.

I've been accused of datamining by the mod team and they've spiraled to tack on anything they can to get rid of my account now.... Idle hands are a devil's workshop.

Don't see anything stealth-related so I doubt its a complete list.

I see some things that could make it as "stealth related"

MAGIC

  • Arcane Weapon Basics: Critical Hit Chance
  • Arcane Weapon Basics: Critical Hit Damage

Some others in there for increased damage... but I agree, I would expect some sort of assassinate  skill.

that is the list of generic PASSIVE skills, trainable by each archetype

stealth is more likely to be in the set of ACTIVE skills (called powers), while some PASSIVE skill may be in the PRIVATE passive skill list of X unreleased archetypes

Also not listed here are the archtype specific skills, for example Knight Proficiency. Those were in a separate tab.

I think what he meant was the skills associated with stealth and anti-stealth abilities. Like the knight has abilities that use sword and board, but also has skills that affect the power of those abilities.
